In Kazanlak, Bulgaria’s “Valley of Roses,” a town not far from Ukraine is home to a weapons factory supplying the frontlines, where residents, torn between economic survival and personal loyalties, live with the uneasy contradiction of a war that challenges their beliefs, while still longing for peace.

We can finally share the news:

THE BIG BOOM!, directed by Gabriel Tejedor, will have its World Premiere at IDFA 2026 in Amsterdam!

We are incredibly happy and proud, and want to send huge congratulations and thank you to everyone who made this film possible; the entire team, our collaborators, financiers and, above all, the people from Kazanlak.
